Wow! Triple Wow! The FIRST CGC graded example to EVER appear at public auction. Also and most importantly the finest quality example we have ever seen handled or heard about!
The Who are one of the few bands that are universally recognized as Rock and Roll Royalty. The worldwide demand for truly World Class Who posters is insatiable. In our opinion this is our favorite Who poster of all time. The ” Who” at the top of their game just a few months after the release of “Tommy" and their memorable performance at Woodstock! An incredible image of Townsend in a classic mid air leap. This piece just screams “Rock n Roll”!
This is poster is very large and very easily damaged. This incredible Museum Quality example is truly superb and would be virtually impossible to improve upon. At least 10x rarer --particularly in this insane state of preservation-- to The Who CNE Auditorium that was graded 9.6 that we recently auctioned off for $8 062. You could easily wait 5 years 10 years or very possibly never to locate an example equal in quality to the one offerd now!
Estimate:$4 000-$8 000+
