This early Fillmore, original concert handbill features "A Pleasure Dome" presented By the San Francisco Calliope Company with the Grateful Dead, The Hindustani Jazz Sextet & Big Brother & the Holding Company. The event took place on a Thursday night, July 14th 1966. The next three days through the weekend The Grateful Dead also performed at the Fillmore with Jefferson Airplane (the numbered series BG-17 poster). Although no audio recording exists of the Dead's set from this Pleasure Dome concert, GD archivists insist the event DID happen, as it appears in Deadbase.
