This original poster advertised Nirvana's appearance in Belgium in November 1991 shortly following the release of the seminal album, "Nevermind", which soon launched them into a worldwide success. The album defined the "grunge" sound that emerged from Seattle. "Nevermind" went on to sell over 30 million copies worldwide and is considered one of the greatest albums in rock history. This show featured Hole as the supporting act, fronted by Courtney Love, who would marry Nirvana's Kurt Cobain the following year.

This particular show was reportedly filled with antics from Nirvana including Kurt throwing fruit salad and spitting water at the audience, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl switching instruments, and of course, the smashing of instruments. READ MORE ABOUT THE SHOW HERE!
