This rare issue promoted Kiss and Rush (Rockandy is also listed but did not play) appearing at Fremd High School in Palatine, Illinois. Kiss posters are widely popular and grow increasingly collectible as the years go by because they were so iconic in the world of arena rock-n-roll - not to mention their mega-stardom status will never be forgotten.
What makes this poster so special, however, is the inclusion of Rush as the opening act, who were touring in support of their second studio album "Fly by Night". This album marked a significant turning point for the band, as it was the first to feature drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. "Fly by Night" was also the first Rush album to achieve significant commercial success, earning the band their first gold certification in Canada. The album set the stage for the progressive rock direction Rush would take with their next albums, particularly with "2112" in 1976.
