This poster was created to announce the Fillmore appearance of Blues legend Howlin' Wolf. In support were Country Joe and the Fish, and the Loading Zone. Artist Peter Bailey designed this poster. Wes Wilson's tenure as the Fillmore's primary poster artist for Bill Graham was coming to an end at this point in the series and other artists were starting to work for the irascible promoter.
