This Wes Wilson poster announced a Fillmore Auditorium appearance by The Mothers and The Blues Project; the band that was a vehicle for the genius of Al Kooper. Kooper was also instrumental for his part in Bob Dylan's game-changing Highway 61 Revisited album. Zappa and the Mothers of Invention played in support at this show; they were just two months shy of the release of Absolutely Free the follow-up recording to the groundbreaking Freak Out album.
