This original poster is one of David Singer's most beautiful works of art advertising one of The Who's historic performances. According to legend at this stop on The Who’s 1973 Quadrophenia tour, drummer Keith Moon was allegedly so high that he was unable to play through all of the sets. The band played a few songs without a drummer then Pete Townshend asked for a drummer from the audience. Nineteen-year-old drummer Scott Halpin embraced the opportunity of a lifetime and joined the Who onstage for several songs.

This rare, high grade CGC 9.4 poster is in fabulous condition. Just last month, a slightly higher-graded 9.8 example of this poster reached a record breaking $5,750.00 sale in another public auction!
