This HIGH CGC 9.9 Graded original handbill was designed by the late great Wes Wilson for a performance of the Beard at the Fillmore. The Beard was a play by beat playwright Michael McClure and it’s a true gem from the era. Although not a musical event The Beard was a perfect illustration of how inspired young artists pushed the envelope and created a new culture.

The main thing that separates these handbills from commercially produced collectibles like baseball cards is their TRUE historical importance and value. Michael McClure was one of our nation's most famous and cherished Beat Poets.
