All you can say is Wow! This is a very early 1966 FIRST YEAR show at the Avalon Ballroom. The poster is designed AND SIGNED by the world famous dynamic duo Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley. This poster utilizes vintage illustration as it’s central image. Artists Mouse and Kelley were fond of plucking images from old books on illustration to incorporate into their poster art. This is one of the finest examples of that effort. Seasoned collectors will tell you that as a group the early Avalon Ballroom material is MUCH rarer than the Fillmore posters that were issued in this era.
