The Dead in 1973 were pon the cusp on a transition in thier sound and songwriting. Pig was no longer in the mix and the keyboard style of Kieth Godchaux created new textures in the Band.
This poster for a show that was one month prior to the release of "Wake of The Flood" featured many of the newer tunes in the set in cluding the full Weather Report Suite.
Deadbase does not list the 9/14 show so we are uncertain if it actually occured.
