This is the very FIRST APPEARANCE of this ultra rare DOORS handbill in our auction! This 1968 Doors concert was held on September 1st at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in New York. An estimated 12 500 people were in attendance. Historically in the Doors legacy this concert was important because Jim Morrison improvised on a piano backstage with a skit known as 'Ode To Friedrich Nietzsche'. Additional acts on this SPAC week schedule handbill included The Bee Gees on August 29th Bill Cosby and the Laugh-In' comedy of Rowan & Martin. This handbill is in SUPER CLEAN & PINHOLE FREE Condition!
