Collection of 2 Rainbow Jam Original Posters by Richard Winn Taylor-PAE Graded Mint “95”

These examples are the FIRST we’ve offered of these issues! The beautiful artwork was designed by Richard Winn Taylor the Art Director for the early Tron and Star Trek movie motion pictures. Taylor along with Kenvin Lyman were the infamous RAINBOW JAM LIGHTS back in the day. Rainbow Jam performed their light wizardry at a plethora of mid-west concerts as well as for Family Dog during the late 60's & early 70's. Only 200 or fewer copies of these posters were printed prior to the concert date due to the expense of the thick stock & the four color printing process. STUDENT FILMS at The UNIVERSITY OF UTAH in SLC Utah - December 11 12 & 13 1969 - First / Only Printing Student Film Presentation Poster - 19 5/16"  x  19 10/16" - Brilliantly beautiful artwork by former Utah Rainbow Light Jam light show artist Richard Taylor (who later moved to California to work on the movie TRON etc.) - Circular mandala design surrounds a scintillating sunset in deep oranges superimposed with a photo of the stars taken with a telescope (likely obtained through the Hansen Planetarium in SLC where Rainbow Jam presented many a light show sensory enhanced with taped or live music especially around the end of December / New Year's Day each year) - Sunset / Outer Space central full color photo is bordered by a circular rainbow border typical of Richard Taylor's artistic style at the time with an astronaut's eye / satellite's eye view of the earth at each of four hubs in the mandala layout on white thick card paper stock - Ultra Mega Rare these days especially in great condition!

MOOG SYNTHESIZER BY DOUG MCKECHNIE & RAINBOW JAM LIGHT ARTISTS - At the Hansen Planetarium in SLC Utah January 16-24 1970 (most likely year) or 1971 (if not 1970) - First / Only Printing Concert & Light Show Event Poster - 19 5/8" x 19 3/4" - Square rainbow colored border surrounds astronaut or satellite view of the lunar surface in deep blue-purple and white with "Earthrise" image of the earth taken from outer space rising above the top edge of the moon in the deep purple-blue of space surrounded by "earthglow" / a white shining ray like halo emitting from it's round edges - Artwork created by Richard Taylor of the SLC Rainbow Jam Light Artists duo - Ultra Mega Rare especially in great shape like this example!
