This original poster from UCSD features The Climax Blues Band and Nova in support during the summer of 1974. Originally known as The Climax Chicago Blues Band the group got their start in England during 1967 with frontman Colin Cooper. In the 1970’s the band's live shows in the United States gained attendance up to 20 000 people or more. Cooper was an extraordinary vocalist and blues harmonica player but he unfortunately passed away in 2008. This poster from 1974 is 100% Original with no restoration.
