This double sided original First Printing handbill was created for the 1968 Northern California Folk Rock Festival in Santa Clara California. The annual event drew some of the biggest acts of the day. This festival featured Jefferson Airplane on Saturday and The Doors on Sunday. A cornerstone of any true 60’s vintage material collection!
Additional festival acts included Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin The Youngbloods The Electric Flag Kaleidoscope Taj Mahal and Ravi Shankar. Although not mentioned in the promotional material the Grateful Dead also performed.
It's no secret handbills featuring The Doors The Airplane and Janis Joplin continue to enjoy worldwide demand.
