This is the FIRST TIME we’ve offered this Gary Grimshaw designed poster in our auction. The band Mountain was formed in Long Island New York during 1969 and they were early pioneers of hard rock & heavy metal. Their third gig as a working group was the Woodstock Festival! Their set was received enthusiastically by the audience but the they did not appear in the film. This beautiful poster was produced by noted Detroit Artist Gary Grimshaw for a concert they performed at Hill Auditorium two years later. The poster also promotes an upcoming show the following week featuring blues legends B.B. King and Howlin' Wolf!
