This original handbill has just emerged from a recently unearthed and long held collection of Boston Tea Party material owned by a long time collector and participant of the New England music scene! 

 

Canned Heat appeared at most of the major musical events at the end of the 1960s including Monterey and Woodstock. Their songs "Going Up the Country" and "On The Road Again" became international hits. This Canned Heat run of concerts took place at the Boston Tea Party. 

 

The Boston Tea Party was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967-1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street through 1970. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!
