This original poster was created for the famous Grateful Dead concerts in 1980 at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco. The 1980 Warfield shows featured a rare acoustic set by the Dead. This poster designed by Dennis Larkin features two skeletons leaning on the historic venue. A similar design was made for the 1980 Radio City Music Hall Dead shows but that advertisement was disapproved of by the venue’s management and was quickly recalled.
Several pirated copies of this issue have surfaced over the years and thanks to CGC grading and authentication collectors don't have to worry about telling the difference between the bootlegs and the OP-1 original pre-concert first printings like this one here.
