This poster belonged to Frank Westlake owner of the legendary Bindweed Press in San Francisco!

This is only the second CGC graded example of this early Grateful Dead issue to appear at public auction. Stanley Mouse and the late great Alton Kelley designed this popular Peace image in late 1966. The concert featured legendary artists like Joan Baez and The Grateful Dead and it was a benefit for the congressional campaign of antiwar candidate Phil Drath. A fantastic poster which rarely surfaces in such clean condition! In February 2018 another CGC graded example in similar condition reached a high water mark of $3 462.00 in our auction.
