This framed triptych original artwork is signed dated 1966 and dedicated on the reverse to a Ms. Greene by the artist Stanley Mouse!
The artwork here was created at a time and place when the legendary Stanley Mouse was deeply involved in producing concert poster art and yet still very early in his career when one considers how many different designs he created from 1966 to 1970 alone. This framed triptych original artwork "Acid Drawing" is signed dated 1966 and dedicated on the reverse to a Ms. Greene. The estate was purchased in 1999 and this piece remained in the consignor's collection for the last 20 years.
It should also be noted that in the world of art it's customary to place the highest values on the earliest output of legendary artists. This is true for Picasso Warhol and most other legends.
Years later Mouse's artistic achievements would be celebrated and displayed in major art museums such as The San Francisco Museum of Art The Detroit Institute of Art Boston Museum The Smithsonian Institute N.Y. Museum of Modern Art and many many others.
