The Grateful Dead's annual Mardi Gras celebration was a real treat for their loyal fans. The tradition began in the 1980's and was held in Oakland first at the Kaiser and later at the Coliseum. With less hype than the New Years Run the Band generally were at the top of their game. The crowd were also treated to a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade complete with floats and revelers. This numbered 6874/25000 edition poster was from the final year of Garcia's life. This is a very nice and increasingly valuable late era Dead poster. Pinhole free condition with only a crunched bottom left corner holding it back from a higher grade.
