This original handbill has just emerged from a recently unearthed and long held collection of Boston Tea Party material owned by a long time collector and participant of the New England music scene!
Ever since the legend's passing B.B. King material has been skyrocketing in value and desirability. This B.B. King handbill was produced for a 3 night run of shows in Boston during the first week of 1969. This was the last perfomance King played at the venue at its old address Berkeley Street. He played Boston Tea Party again at the new location the following year and we also have that poster currently listed in this auction.
The historic Boston Tea Party was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967-1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street through 1970. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!
