Wow! Here we have a large uncut artist’s proof of one of the most beautiful and sought after rock posters ever! Jimi Hendrix performed at Bill Graham’s Fillmore East on May 10 1968. The famed venue was located in the lower East side of Manhattan and was host to all of the major acts of the day. There are relatively few posters for the Fillmore East. Instead Graham used his print budget to create playbill type programs for the theatre style venue. Almost 20 years later 2nd printings were produced which is what this example is from. This proof sheet is in gorgeous super clean pinhole free condition. It's one poster and six cards uncut! A true gem in terms of scarcity design and performer!
