This is a collection of 2 Underground Comix featuring Dr Timothy Leary. One is SIGNED by Leary himself at the top of the first page in the margin! Timothy Leary was one of the most visible figures of the 1960's counter culture. The one time Harvard professor was an early advocate of the psychedelic experience and consciousness expanding substances. 

NEUROCOMICS - TIMOTHY LEARY HAND-SIGNED in black ball point pen at the top of the first page of the first story in the margin and wrote "Spokane 5-19-91" at the bottom of the page in the margin since he signed this issue for the consignor at a New Age Fair held in Spokane WA at that time. Published in 1979 by Last Gasp Eco-Funnies in S.F. Glossy full color cover 36 pages. FIRST / Only Printing Underground Comix measures 7" x 10". Only 10 000 copies were printed. Contains Timothy Leary on space migrations intelligence increase and life extension. Artwork by Peter Von Sholly Tim Kummero George DiCaprio S. Riley L. Ochi with assistance by B. Clark. Full color front cover by ROBERT CRUMB along with his one page black and white strip inside "My First LSD Trip". Has a TIMOTHY LEARY quote at the top of the front cover "The Universe is Perfect" along with a few single page stories starring TIM LEARY inside by JUSTIN GREEN KIM DEITCH and BILL GRIFFITH. Two page strip by the late great prolific UG comix artist SPAIN RODRIGUEZ. One page FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS strip by GILBERT SHELTON. Two page strip by VICTOR MOSCOSO. One page strip by BOBBY LONDON TED RICHARDS etc. Condition: Lower right corner has been bumped producing a few very light bends.
