Another FIRST TIMER! Here we have the very FIRST original button of this issue to EVER appear in our auction! This pin-back button was produced to promote the Jefferson Airplane Butterfield Blues Band and Muddy Waters on September 23rd through October 2nd 1966 at the Fillmore and Winterland Arena. It was designed by Wes Wilson and is the counterpart to the beautiful posters he produced for the same run of shows in the numbered Bill Graham series (BG-29 The Sound). These buttons are EXTREMELY SCARCE now and seldom surface for collectors. It is unlikely we will see another one of these for a long time.
