This concert would one of the last the Los Angeles band Love would perform with their original lineup. Frontman and founder Arthur Lee would re-construct a new group for the 4th Love album release the following year. This poster from San Diego in 1968 is also noteworthy for featuring a new version of the Spencer Davis Group with Ray Fenwick replacing Steve Winwood on guitar. San Diego had fewer venues during this era when compared to the heavy musical activity happening in San Francisco. Therefore material from the San Diego area is much harder to locate for collectors. A classic piece of original memorabilia with no restoration whatsoever!
