We are pleased to offer this splendid Clash handbill from University of Houston for the FIRST TIME in our auction! This original first printing promotes The Clash at Cullen Auditorium during the fall of 1979. The band had just recorded their iconic album "London Calling” which was released 2 months later and hit number 9 on the British charts. The cover of the album was based on the cover of Elvis Presley's self-titled 1956 debut LP and became one of the best known in the history of punk rock. This original handbill is in Superb Museum Quality with no visible flaws of any kind!
