PAE is pleased to present the very FIRST CGC graded specimen of this poster to EVER appear at public auction! This early Fillmore poster features "A Pleasure Dome" presented By the San Francisco Calliope Company with the Grateful Dead The Hindustani Jazz Sextet & Big Brother & the Holding Company. The event took place on a Thursday night July 14th 1966. The next three days through the weekend The Grateful Dead also performed at the Fillmore with Jefferson Airplane (the numbered series BG-17 poster). Although no audio recording exists of the Dead's set from this Pleasure Dome concert GD archivists insist the event DID happen as it appears in Deadbase.
