This poster is signed in pencil by the artist Wes Wilson!
This Wes Wilson poster for an early Fillmore concert by the Turtles is a true sleeper. Yet another unbelievable gem in the world of 1960’s concert posters! The central image of jamming turtles was created by German illustrator and cartoonist Heinrich Kley. This image was also the inspiration for the Grateful Dead Album Terrapin Station. This poster is deceptively hard to find in ANY state of preservation. The 7.0 grade here gives you good eye appeal and ownership of this historic Original First Printing piece for a minimum investment. The added signature sweetens the deal!
