This poster is signed in pencil by the artist the late great Rick Griffin!
Rick Griffin created this poster in 1972 as a commemorative piece several years after the original performance on November 8 1968. This is an original first printing but not a pre-concert advertising poster. Nonetheless it is a collector's favorite and always gets attention when surfacing in public auctions. A lower 9.0 graded example realized $2197 in our February 2018 sale. In any other collectibles market this poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior 9.4 SIGNED example now!
