It’s no secret that Acid Test handbills are highly sought after and historically important in the sea of 1960’s concert material. We are pleased to offer this Trophy Museum Piece that distinguishes itself in many ways as truly World Class. This handbill is featured in The Art of Rock page 250.
The Grateful Dead performed at this event along with Janis Joplin and Big Brother and The Holding Company and Quicksilver Messenger Service. Dead historians agree this was an epic 3 day event that was one of the pinnacle moments in early Dead concert history. So much so that The Grateful Dead themselves released this concert as a special bonus to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first album. In addition these shows were released on vinyl by The Dead for Record Store Day.
