This CGC High Grade original poster from a Valentines Day Dance at the Carousel Ballroom is a Grateful Dead Classic. It’s Stanley Mouse’s riff on a vintage Valentine and features a goofy antique photo for the main image. No GD poster collection is complete without this odd shaped whimsical poster from 1968.

The wisdom printed on the bottom edge advises “Stick to Weed It's Safe”. The official release of this recording of this Concert is sold as Grateful Dead Road Trips Vol. 2. Phil Lesh claims this to be amongst his favorite shows.

The original poster for this popular issue seldom surfaces for collectors in museum quality condition. A similar graded example realized $3 300 in one of our previous auctions. Clearly the lucky new owner of this poster will take immense joy in owning this MUSEUM PIECE now and this satisfaction is sure to grow with each passing year!
