Sized at 44 1/2” x 44 1/2" this ENORMOUS work of art was created by Larry Smart in 1968 featuring the Crazy World of Arthur Brown. It appears simply amazing both in normal daylight and under black light (see photo). This oversized poster is the first of this issue we’ve ever offered in our auction!
Arthur Brown’s dynamic performances and wild stage antics captivated audiences in the late sixties. He was a pioneer of what is now termed “Shock Rock” influencing generations of musicians from Alice Cooper to Marilyn Manson. During 1967 and 1968 artist Larry Smart also created iconic silkscreen images of Jimi Hendrix John Lennon Bob Dylan and Frank Zappa.
