San Francisco’s own hardcore punk band The Dead Kennedys are promoted on this original handbill from the Moore Theater in Seattle. During this era in late 1984 the group’s music had evolved considerably in a short time moving away from the thrash hardcore formula of the seventies toward a more innovative style which showcased their stronger musicianship qualities. Their songwriting also led a major rebellion against much of what was happening during the Reagan years.
