This poster is a high quality silkscreen reprint of one of the most sought after concert posters from the 1960’s. Produced in 1991 this large “Trip or Freak” reprint is signed by all three of its original creators.

The original poster was created in 1967 for a Halloween concert at Winterland that featured  the Grateful Dead Big Brother & The Holding Company Quicksilver Messenger Service.

The central image is of Lon Chaney in his role in the 1925 American classic silent film “Phantom of The Opera “.The script at the top of the poster reads “Trip or Freak” and upon close inspection reveals a hidden image of a bare breasted dancing woman. The “C” in “Quicksilver” was mistakenly omitted from the original print adding to the collectability.

The large silkscreen magnificently features the signatures of all three artists a rarity in and of itself . In this edition of 500  it is estimated that less than  50 copies were signed by Griffin before his death in August of the year it was printed.
