Here is an opportunity to own an incredible original poster from one of the most legendary bands of all time! This huge poster was used to promote The Who’s 1973 Fallout Shelter US tour that was in support of their fan favorite Quadraphenia album. This poster is extremely difficult to locate and very seldom appears in public auctions. In the past 10 years we have only offered two other and one was linen backed.
The 1973 North American Tour consisted of 12 dates beginning with a concert on November 20th at San Francisco Cow Palace and ending Dec. 6th at the Capital Centre in Largo MD. This is a super large promo/ concert tour poster also advertising the album release by MCA Records. It is estimated that only about 200 were originally printed. Due to its immense size we don’t believe more than a handful have survived in ANY condition.
