This lot represents an incredible milestone for us being not only the FIRST CGC GRADED EXAMPLE of this scarce issue to appear in a public auction but this is also the first time we have EVER offered this original First Printing poster.. PERIOD. Bonnie MacLean designed this beautiful poster featuring The Who at the Fillmore in 1967. Without a doubt one of the most requested issues of the Bill Graham numbered series. This is the piece everyone wants but very few have.
The elusive nature of this poster makes perfect sense especially when one considers there were NO REPRINTS of this issue produced until after 2010. Therefore only the original 1967 Pre-Concert First Printings like this one have survived all these years and when they do surface once every blue moon they are often extremely damaged. This specimen has remained intact -- super clean with no nicks cuts tears or pinholes. Clearly one of the Fillmore set-breakers this lot is sure to attract serious collectors looking to fill that gap in their original printing collections. Get in line.
