This poster has just emerged from a recently unearthed and long held collection of Texas material owned by a long time resident and participant of the Austin music scene!
The FIRST CGC graded example of this original Vulcan Gas Company poster to appear at public auction! The material that was created for the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin Texas in the 1960s are some of the most desirable and valuable in the entire genre of Psychedelic Concert art. These scarce posters were printed in far less quantity than those for the major San Francisco dance halls mostly in quantities of 500 or less. Very few of these LARGE unique and fragile posters remain available today in ANY condition.
