1966-FD-19 –Avalon Ballroom- Big Brother-PAE Graded Mint-95

       This poster for a two day bill at the Avalon in 1966 features an all time classic Mouse/Kelley design. The duo very cleverly used popular culture images as poster themes for many of their early works.  This poster is one of the true “sleepers” in the series as it is deceptively difficult to locate in true MINT condition. Damaged used copies can be found with just moderate effort but beware there are many pieces that have been restored.  Those  “fixed” copies look “good” upon initial inspection yet ultimately miss the MINT designation.
