Hold on to your peace frogs! This is a super rare Doors handbill from a concert in 1970 which took place in Hawaii at the Honolulu Arena International Center! This was the second time the Doors performed in Hawaii and the last show with Jim Morrison at the venue. Approx. 8 400 were in attendance. Long time Doors studio engineer Bruce Botnick also attended this performance and recorded the show on a portable tape deck.
It was a pretty wild night with some rarities in the set list like “Peace Frog” “Mystery Train” “The Crystal Ship” and a later-era Doors version of their early hit “Love Me Two Times” with “Baby Please Don't Go” teases. Also included were timeless classics like a 20 minute version of “Light My Fire” and a stellar “The End”.
A fantastic lot in super clean condition with no tears or pinholes! This handbill represents a MAJOR opportunity for the advanced collector.
