Ozzy Osbourne’s first solo album “Blizzard of Ozz” was released in the United States on March 27 1981 and a successful tour followed. His hits "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" were released as singles and by June Ozzy was enjoying an enthusiastic fan base. This concert in San Diego at the Fox Theatre featured Osbourne’s legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads in all his glory before his untimely death the following year. 

 

The historic Colby Poster Printing Company produced promotional material between 1948 and 2012 and they became legendary for their signature fluorescent inks and bold all-caps typography although none of the original staff had any formal design training. They were members of the letterpress union the screen printers union and the typesetters union. This original cardboard poster is in Superb Museum Quality Condition!
