Here we have an early R.E.M. cardboard poster appearing in our auction for the first time. This 1983 poster was produced for a Los Angeles concert the same year this legendary band released their debut full-length album “Murmur” on the I.R.S. Record label. The album was critically acclaimed and through the support of college radio the band’s career was launched and continued to grow through the 80’s. Much of their early promotional material like this cardboard poster is highly sought after by fans and collectors. This poster was produced before the concert by the historic Colby Printing Company in Los Angeles!
