Janis Joplin & Big Brother were touring heavily during spring of 1968. This concert in Santa Clara was just 2 weeks prior to their first New York appearance at the legendary Anderson Theatre. The group has just signed with Columbia Records and were about to begin recording “Cheap Thrills” a month later.
When scarce Janis material like this handbill surfaces in such fantastic condition a feeding frenzy of bidding usually follows as collectors are consistently trying to locate the very best of the best! This particular issue has superb eye appeal with an excellent design and colorful photo of the band. Bid accordingly!
