It has been confirmed that this painting was NOT produced by Lee Conklin (although it reads “Conklin” at the bottom right edge). However it almost looks like it could be an homage to the famous artist with a portrait of his face in the upper right.?. (He “kinda” looked like that back in the day).
This "Purple Power" Painting is Acrylic on Canvas Board measuring 16" x 20" and exhibits all the attributes of a classic psychedelic era work of art. The date and artist of this painting is unknown. There is always a chance it was produced by “another Conklin” but it seems more likely it is an Ode to the one and only Lee Conklin.
