This lot will be accompanied by a Letter of Provenance attesting to the fact that it resided in the historic Early '66 Time Capsule Collection one of the most exciting and important concert poster discoveries of the past 20 years.
The Firehouse home of the #26 Engine was a decommissioned fire-station turned into a small music venue in San Francsico. These handbills were charmingly printed in the old fashioned letterpress style. The venue was one of the first to feature light shows in the city. It was owned by George Eby (and his dog Potpan). Eby let the members of Sopwith Camel live and rehearse upstairs in the building. This is the very FIRST example of this handbill we've ever offered in our auction and it's in Superb Museum Quality Condition!
