This special lot is without a doubt one of the most interesting specimens of Beatles memorabilia we’ve ever auctioned! It’s an Unused 3 3/4” Reel to Reel Tape Slick for the Capitol Records release of Revolver featuring the legendary album cover art by German artist Klaus Voormann!

The Beatles recorded the Revolver album following a three-month break from professional commitments at the start of 1966. It signified a change in direction by the band as well as the beginning of the end of their touring and live shows.

The album was reduced to eleven songs (listed on this album slick) by Capitol Records in North America where three of its tracks instead appeared on the June 1966 release “Yesterday and Today”. This unused Reel to Reel tape slick measures 7” x 15” and is 100% Original with no restoration!
