This original handbill was produced for a lecture given by the legendary Dr Timothy Leary in 1977 at the Seattle Opera House. The event was presented by the Second Growth Holistic Health Institute and entitled "The Creation of the Future".
Leary was held in Switzerland for extradition to the US per the demand of the Nixon administration in the early seventies. Due to a successful plea by Allen Ginsberg and others Leary remained in Switzerland in exile but was able to continue his work and expand his consciousness and literary expression. This lecture in 1977 contained direct discussions about that experience and well as his S.M.I.L.E. equation. Leary declared that the Tactics of Evolution are Space Migration Intelligence Increase and Life Extension. (S.M.I².L.E.) This historic handbill is 100% Original with no restoration!
