Here we have a super rare Tilghman Press cardboard poster for a 1959 show featuring big names in the history of rock n roll like Cornell Gunter & The Coasters and The Original Drifters. This vintage piece was designed and printed by the Tilghman Press company out of Oakland CA. Their promotional material had a consistent and familiar appearance to them similar to classic boxing style posters from the early days of rock n roll. Very few original Tilghman Press posters exist today because they were printed in extremely small quantities! Cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought after type of concert memorabilia ever known.
