The Electric Circus nightclub in New York City was a popular music venue during the late sixties which promoted "playing games dress as you like dance sit think tune in and turn on". The Velvet Underground (their performances under Andy Warhol's influence) The Doors The Allman Brothers Band and The Grateful Dead all performed there. Original promotional material from the venue can be very difficult to locate in any condition. This super scarce handbill from 1967 joyfully announces the venue’s new extended days / hours of operation in celebration of summer!
