During the 1970’s and early 1980’s The famous Capitol Theater in Passaic New Jersey became a popular venue for a whole laundry list of major rock artists. Promoter John Scher worked diligently to bring a steady flow of talent to the 3 200-seat theater. The venue was also known for its in-house video system which resulted in many good quality black and white videos years later. It closed its doors and was demolished in 1991 but has remained one of the most legendary venues in rock music history.


This is an amazing collection of 3 Capitol Theatre Backstage Passes from the venue’s golden era between 1978 and 1985. Van Morrison Dickey Betts and Gregg Allman! Each measure approx 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
