Ray Charles Alert! Here we have a true piece of musical history! This original program is for the “Show of Stars” stageshow which ran for several dates in October 1961 at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. During the early 60’s the theatre hosted performances by many Motown recording artists and the legendary Ray Charles appeared in this lineup along with Fabian Gloria Lynn Timi Yuro Shep And The Limelights The Dorells and Dave Astor. Vintage tour programs from the 60’s are harder to find with each passing year. As quantities of available programs decrease the more collectible they become.
